Located in 1106 Pupin Labs, Columbia University
The QCDSP computers were designed and constructed between 1993 and 1998. Two
large QCDSP machines are operating in the Physics Department of Columbia University (400
Gflops peak) and the RIKEN BNL Research Center (600 Gflops peak).
- Hardware and computer technology General
description of the QCDSP project with details of the computer architecture and hardware
implementation.
- Operating and system software Overview of
the QCDSP system and application software.
- QCDSP Users' Guide: pdf, ps
Introduction to programming the QCDSP machines written by Balint Joo and Robert Mawhinney.
- Columbia Physics System
Progress made in the evolution of the original C++ physics application code developed for
the QCDSP machines into a more portable system optimised for the QCDOC architecture and
incorporating the QCDAPI being developed by the U.S. SciDAC Lattice QCD Collaboration.
